Explanations and Research Questions

The explanatory models connect setting, bodily sensation, movement, plant compounds, and formulation. They distinguish established background knowledge from proposed explanations of the LDN experience.

Body signals become foreground

Interoception concerns sensing the body's internal state. The source model uses the insula and related systems to explore how bodily information connects with conscious feeling, emotion, and motivation.

The experiential idea is a shift from body as background to body as foreground. Reducing competing input may make pressure, movement, or an urge to stretch easier to notice. A claim that Liquid Stretch amplifies those signals through a particular insular pathway remains a hypothesis.

Vividness, attention, and accuracy are different: a stronger feeling does not necessarily identify its cause more accurately. Visual Energy Load and Complete Darkness develops the sensory-attention question.

Stretch sensitivity and guarding

Muscle spindles signal muscle length and change in length. Gamma motor neurons participate in adjusting spindle sensitivity.

The proposed application asks whether changed guarding or responsiveness makes lengthening feel more available. The “quieter alarm” metaphor helps describe that idea, but reflex activity, perceived threat, tension, and pain remain distinct. A THC- or CBD-induced reduction in gamma drive during this practice has not been established here.

From formulation to experience

The delivery model follows plant compounds into an infusion and carrier, through digestion and circulation, and toward reported effects. Each step raises a separate question: what was retained, what reached circulation, and what was experienced?

Carrier Oils and Lecithin supplies delivery vocabulary; Formulation and Individual Response distinguishes measurements and reports. Separate findings cannot establish the complete product-to-experience chain.

Claims retained for review

Trauma release, PTSD or back-pain treatment, product-induced stretching, fixed CNS capacity, spinal realignment, detoxification, and dose or transition instructions remain preserved in the source archive. Their wording and evidence require review before public use.

These questions need not delay a clear account of the observable mechanics. Explanations remain useful when their proposed steps are visible.
